DJ Finesse, born David Ruffin, grew up in Hampton Virginia and in 1992 decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a legendary DJ. DJ Finesse moved to Las Vegas in 1997 where he began to master his craft and take his skills to the next level. DJ Finesse was one of the first DJ’s to play an eclectic style of hip hop on the Las Vegas Strip and helped numerous nightclubs gain popularity through his music. Over the years, DJ Finesse has become well known for being a diversified DJ in House, Hip Hop, Reggae, Pop, R&B, Rock and Top 40. Since 2000 DJ Finesse has been working as a resident mixer on Hot 97.5 KVEG and DJ’s at various events and nightclubs across the city and country. DJ Finesse has mixed for numerous artists such as Prince, Ludacris, and P. Diddy.
