Hailing from the East Coast and currently residing in LA, DJ Ivy has turned her hobby into a full-time career. Aside from being the head women’s designer for popular streetwear brands such as Crooks & Castles and Melody Ehsani, you can find her rocking the decks weekly at various popular Hollywood hotspots including The Roosevelt, STK, On The Rox and The W Hotel.
She is known best as the resident DJ at the popular live entertainment venue Club Nokia located in downtown, opening for some of the biggest acts in the biz and lately has been spotted onstage at The Fonda in Hollywood. She has been featured on Karmaloop & MissKL.com for majorly hustling her dual-careers in music and fashion, as well as being published in Blackbook Magazine as a female DJ to keep your eye on.
Ivy plays center stage at many LA Premier Concerts (Kendrick Lamar, Drake, 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, Wu-Tang), Private events (Jimmy Choo, Goldenvoice, Crooks & Castles), Sporting Events (Clippers game at Staples Center, Dodgers Playoffs, Lakers Championship Party w/Lil’ Wayne & Kanye West). Aside from her party rockin’ performances, she has played for such live acts as The Knux (Interscope/ Rock The Bells Tour) and Lisa D’Amato (2011 ANTM All-Star’s Winner/VH1/Electro-Rapper-Model). Festivals have included Dinah Shore (Vegas) and Bunbury Music Festival (Cincinnati).
Not only is Ivy a hip hop assassin, she can heat up a room throwing down everything from the oldest motown to the newest trap record. Once you’re on the dance floor it’s hard to leave–and besides being sexy, she’s one of the best.
